Hello Reader, How's December treating you? On Friday, I had this idea to share how I will be gifting this year. I have shared some on my Instagram, but I want to share a bit more with you here, a do read till the end for some love-gifting thoughts. 80% of the gifts will be second-handI have been buying second-hand for many years but this is the first Christmas that we have made it official in our family that all the gifts have to be purchased from a second-hand/charity shop, Facebook marketplace, Vinted or upcycled presents. It has been so much fun to go shopping with the girls and hunt for treasures. In Sweden, second-hand shops are curated and very organised, like a department store. Gift an experienceAn experience is still my favourite gift to receive and give. So this year, once again me and my husband will give each other an experience to share- usually, it's a spa day. Both my daughters are December's babies and they have requested an experience with the family during the Christmas break. Quality time vs Material things is always a winner Handmade or Shop LocalI love supporting small creative businesses, local makers, and artists. Handmade products from local shops are my next favourite places to buy gifts, and I try to avoid large chains whenever possible. This year, I found honey, biscuits, and liquorice at a local boutique that offers a variety of delicious options; liquorice is especially popular in Sweden. I also discovered beautiful handmade ceramics by a local artist at a market, and I love that a percentage of all their sales goes to marine conservation. Additionally, I picked up hand-poured candles made by a local artisan. I adore candlelight and have started lighting a few candles each morning during breakfast—it’s such a gentle and calming way to begin the day. Last-minute gift?I hope this guide and these ideas for Christmas gifting brought you some inspiration and a little joy! And here’s a friendly reminder: don’t forget to gift yourself something, too. You’ve worked hard and accomplished so much this year—in your personal life, in business, and as a mum, wife, daughter, or friend. You deserve to celebrate you! Self-love isn’t selfish; it’s something we should normalize, practice regularly, and fully enjoy—without a shred of guilt. I saw a reel on Instagram the other day that really hit home. It said something like, “I buy my daughter the latest clothes, but I’m still wearing the same bra from 2019.” Sound familiar? This is your sign to go out and treat yourself—whether it’s a new bra, or that thing you’ve been eyeing all year. You’ve earned it! ❤️ Happy Gifting! |

Hello Reader, I hope you are doing okay. The past 10 days have been really hard for me as I have watched in horror as innocent children, and people, have been suffering and taken away too early. My wishes and prayers every single day is for peace. I felt hopeless and heartbroken. Then yesterday evening, as I was teaching macrame jewellery for three hours at my local College for Adults, finally my frustration and hopeless were replaced with creativity, human connections, mindfulness, purpose...
Hello Reader, I hope you are well. On Tuesday I was in London to host a mini-retreat with 4 other incredible women. We started with a cacao ceremony, followed by a break nourishing ourselves with plant-based food and finally an 'awaken your creativity' with the art of knotting' session. We created a safe space and within this beautiful container we were able to talk and release many emotions, the tears I shed were much needed and it was magical to be able to share them within the group and...
