I hope you are doing okay.
The past 10 days have been really hard for me as I have watched in horror as innocent children, and people, have been suffering and taken away too early. My wishes and prayers every single day is for peace.
I felt hopeless and heartbroken.
Then yesterday evening, as I was teaching macrame jewellery for three hours at my local College for Adults, finally my frustration and hopeless were replaced with creativity, human connections, mindfulness, purpose and joy.
Macrame reminded me of something I have been telling people for years- it's yoga for the mind.
Macrame is therapeutic and I needed three whole hours of it!
Something clicked, I found hope and joy again when I thought it wasn't possible in this world.
I found a new energy, one knot at a time we can make a difference.
We can't save the world but we can bring joy, and awareness, and build human connection and love!
